As Danish Consulate General in Istanbul drew attention to the importance of corporate social responsibility in the ‘Danish Children’s Festival’, organized for the 3rd time this year for contribution to Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, Tekfen Agri gave a memorable experience to the children with its activity and playground areas, and encouraged children to eat fresh fruits in season and eat healthy foods with its #tazemeyveye (eat fresh fruit) concept.
Danish Children’s Festival, led by the Danish Consulate General in Istanbul for the last 3 years, was organized to contribute to ‘Climate Action’, ‘Accessible and Clean Energy’, ‘Clean Water’, and ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities’ Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. This year’s keynote of the festival has been corporate social responsibility. Tekfen Agri entertained children with its playground and activity areas and informed them about sustainability. In addition, Alanar Fruit, the leading exporter of products such as pomegranate, figs, and cherries in the recent years, offered seasonal Bursa black figs to children and set an example for children to eat healthy foods with its “eat fresh fruit” (#tazemeyveye) concept in the festival.
Numerous visitors attended the festival, notably Anette Galskjot, Consul General of Denmark in Istanbul; Svend Olling, Ambassador of Denmark; Ibrahim Tahmaz, Sariyer District Director of National Education; Sukru Genc, Mayor of Sariyer; Emrah Ince, General Manager of Tekfen Agri; and Hakan Tahiroglu, Vice President of Darussafaka Society.
